The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data refers to any data with which you can be personally identified.

Your data is collected when you provide it to us (such as when submitting a whitelist HWID application or requesting assistance on Discord). Other data is collected automatically or upon your consent when visiting the website by our IT systems (primarily technical data such as browser type, operating system, and request timestamps).

3. How We Collect and Process Your Data
HWID Whitelist Applications
When applying for early access via our HWID portal, we process the applicant's name, email address, Discord handle, Minecraft account name, Hardware-ID (HWID), and application reasoning. This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contractual and pre-contractual steps to verify access eligibility) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (preventing unauthorized client distribution and software piracy).
Double-Opt-In Email Verification
To ensure that no unauthorized person uses foreign email addresses, we implement a Double-Opt-In confirmation procedure. Verification tokens and status tracking tokens are cryptographically generated and stored securely.
Server Log Files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores technical information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (previously visited website)
- Host name of the accessing device
- Time of the server request
- IP address (anonymized/shortened)
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, which allows data processing to maintain security, technical stability, and server performance.
Download Counters & Platform Metrics
When downloading Lotus Client, we log purely statistical counts (such as platform type Windows, macOS, or Linux, version tag, and timestamp) to distribute server load and deliver updates. No personal behavioral profiling takes place.
Cookies & Sessions
On the public website, no third-party tracking, advertising, or marketing cookies are deployed. We exclusively use session cookies necessary for language selection preferences and authenticated staff management.
